When I’m out of office

On sunny days, you can find me playing tennis or having a picnic in the park.

What is the most adventurous thing you’ve done?

Volunteered to fight wildfires in the South African wilderness.

One of the most exciting things about Hyperscale is the opportunity to drive transformational change in multiple industries.

In previous roles, I studied user behavior by combining quantitative data analysis and modeling techniques with qualitative investigations. The results of my work emphasized the importance of user empathy in building data products.

I believe that the Hyperscale concept will enable companies to develop AI capabilities that truly make an impact, and will fundamentally disrupt the way that businesses are built, as well as the way that investing is done.

Prior experience:

  • Data Scientist at Apple I worked on a health team at Apple where I directed user studies and analyzed study data to drive the development of health metrics for the Apple Watch.
  • Intuit Futures Team I used machine learning on financial data to predict users’ behavioral traits, including cognitive biases, and utilized this information to help users make better financial decisions.
  • UC Berkeley I applied machine learning to genomic data to evaluate antibiotic resistance characteristics of bacteria in the human gut. I also led a data science team aiming to design algorithms that would improve emergency medical services.
